Pelage was a mariner and is referred to as Captain Durfee.
On 11 March 1730/31, Mr. Ephraim Cole was granted the administration of his estate.[1]
On 21 May 1731, Rebeckah Cole and Mr. Samuel Cole of Plymouth were granted the administration of his estate, after Ephraim Cole passed away.[2]
Peleg Durfee was an enslaver. His inventory was recorded on 1 October 1731 and listed an "Indian girl" appraised at £16 pounds.[3]
