Mary Louisa Duncan, daughter of Maria Wiley and John Duncan, was born on May 20, 1879 in Chinguacousy Township, Ontario, Canada.[1][2][3][4] Her father was a peddler and they lived at Lot 11, Concession 5 East in Chinguacousy Township.[1] Her birth was attended by Dr. Moore.[1]
Mary was 30 when she married Frederick Watson, 34, a machinist, on June 30, 1909 in Toronto.[2][3][4][5] Frederick was Methodist, a resident of Weston, and the son of Albert Watson and Hannah Elliott.[2] Mary was Methodist and a resident of Toronto.[2] Their marriage was witnessed by Wilmer R. Lindsay and Eva Annie Allen, both of Toronto, and solemnized by J. A. Rankin of 112 Madison Avenue in Toronto.[2]
On January 8, 1912, Frederick and Mary's first son, Frederick Archibald Watson, was born.[3][4][5][6] They had at least two more sons, Alex and Walter.[6]
Mary died on April 12, 1958 and was buried in Nashville Cemetery in Kleinburg, Ontario, Canada.[3][4]
