Deirdre Duncan, born 24 September 1906 in Noordwijk (Netherlands), was the daughter of dancer Isadora Duncan.[1] Isadora was not married but her daughter's father is presumably her companion at that time, theatre designer Gordon Craig.[2]
Deirdre died on 19 April 1913, near number 70 boulevard Bourdon in Neuilly-sur-Seine at about 4 pm[1] together with her half-brother Patrick, 4, and their governess Annie McKessack Sim, when their automobile left the bridge over the Seine and plunged into the river. Only their driver escaped.[3]
