His daughter, by Unknown wife, was Christian Drummond Stewart (1575–1650).
John died about July 1623 in Torryburn, Fife, Scotland, aged about 70.
He should not be confused with Sir John Drummond, born around that same time in Midlothian, Scotland, and was married to Susannah Fowler.
