John Drummond was baptised 27 Apr 1723 at Stanmore, Middlesex, England.
He was the son of Andrew Drummond Esq. (5th son of Sir John Drummond the founder of the great banking-house at Charing-Cross) Andrew Drummond purchased the Estate at Stanmore in Middlesex, and dying in 1769, in his 82nd year, was buried there; leaving an only son, John (this Profile) ^[1] He married Isabella Strahan.

John Drummond married Charlotte Beauclerk, daughter of Lord William Beauclerk, 2nd son of Sir Charles Beauclerk, 1st Duke of St. Alhans, on 21 Dec 1744
