Biography
Matthew was born in 1879 in Levels, Canterbury, near Timaru.[1] He married Mary Earl in 1905. He died in 1965. He was buried in Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill.[2] He left Pleasant Point to live in Winton - farmer and auctioneer.
