Biography
Henry, son of John Dressler and Susanna Hamman, was born in March 1808 according to his grave marker.[1] His grave marker uses the spelling Tressler which is found in use almost interchangeably with Dressler among members of this family.
He married Lyidia Reitz in 1829. In 1841, the Estate Distribution of Jacob Reitz was completed.[2] Henry and "Elidia" Dressler of Upper Mahantongo Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania were named heirs in the Jacob Reitz Estate. This can be found in Deed Book CC, page 43 of the Northumberland County, Pennsylvania Land Records at the Family History Library.[3]
At some point, the family had moved to Saginaw, Michigan (where other members of the extended family are found).[4]
Death date found on his grave marker at Meyer Cemtery, Buffalo Run, Centre County, Pennsylvania is 29 Jan 1865. [1]
