Biography

Ruth (Dozier) Fowlkes is a part of US Black heritage.

Ruth was born in 1923. She was the daughter of James Dozier and Daisy McDonald. In the 1930 census Ruthe (age 7) was the step-daughter of Garfield Green in South of Georgttown Racbroad abittle by road From East ?? Street., Lane, Williamsburg, South Carolina, United States.^[1]

Ruth married Thomas W Fowlkes in June 1967. They separated in 1975, and Thomas obtained a divorce on 30 September 1983 in Richmond, Virginia.^[2]

Ruth died (age 62) on 4 July 1986 in Richmond, Richmond, Virginia, United States.^[3][4] She was buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Richmond, Virginia.^[5][6]
