Biography
Mervyn was born on the 2nd Nov 1921 at Cowra, NSW, Australia, the son of Raymond George Donges and Ivy Grace Kavanagh. He served in World War 2 in the Australian Army (NX138371, N386103) from November 8, 1942 until March 4, 1946. At the time of Discharge he was a Corporal with 2 DIV ML & FDW. In 1943, at Cowra, NSW, he married Florence Alice Hall. They had 2 children; 1. Trevor Wayne d 1946 [2019/1946] Cowra; 2. unamed child d 1947 [19666/1947] Cowra. Mervyn died on the 4th Sep 1981 & is buried at the Cowra General Cemetery, NSW. [1]
