Agapit Dodier est né le 24 mars 1828 à Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Bas-Canada, fils de Jean-Baptiste Dodier et de Marie-Helene Nadeau.[1]
Il a épousé Véronique Dugrenier, fille de Pierre Dugrenier et de Marie Louise Drouin, le 22 juillet 1851 à Saint-Joseph-de-Beauce, Canada-Est.[2]
Il est décédé à Saint-Frédéric, Québec, Canada, le 12 juillet 1895.[3]
