Biography

Albert was born about 1886. He was the son of James Dodd and Harriet Crossley[1].

In 1915 he married Gertrude Louise Douglass[2].

On 1 Jan 1934 Albert was made a Members of the Order of the British Empire (MBE)[3].

On 12 Jun 1947 Albert was appointed as a Companions of the Imperial Service Order[4].

He passed away on 19 Jan 1981[5] and was buried eight days later[6].
