Corporal David (Dockrey) Dockery served in the United States Army Air Forces in World War II

David Jackson Dockrey was born 10 June 1923 in Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Kentucky.[1][2][3][4] He was the son of Benjamin Dockrey and Izoria (Howton) Dockrey.[1] In the 1930 U.S. Census, David J Dockrey was recorded as 6-years old, living in Charleston, Hopkins, Kentucky with his parents and older sisters, Bobbie and Ruby.[1]

On 30 June 1942, David Jackson Dockrey registered for the draft (World War II) in Madisonville and was living in Dawson Springs, Hopkins, Kentucky.[2]

During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army Air Forces and attained the rank of Corporal.[3]

He married Opal A Felker and had a daughter.

He died 11 August 2000 in Madisonville, Hopkins, Kentucky and was buried at Beulah Cemetery, Beulah, Hopkins County, Kentucky.[3][4]
