Biography
Mary Elizabeth Dobbs was born September 2, 1792 in Black Mountain, Buncombe County North Carolina, daughter of Silas Dobbs and Charlotte Whitehurst. On July 25, 1808, she married Joel Prickett (1787-1855) in Franklin County, Georgia. They had eleven known children. Mary passed away July 23, 1832 in Meriwether, Georgia.
