Biography

Anna (Dixon) White was the widow of a victim of the Cherry Mine Disaster on 13-Nov-1909

In 1900 Anna, George, and Stanley were living in Jasper County, Iowa. Anna was 36; immigrated in 1898; mother of 1, 1 living.^[1] (note: immigration year is given as 1888, but years in U.S. as 2).

In 1910 Anna and her son Stanley are living in Westfield. Also in the household are her stepson George H. White, and stepdaughter (George's wife) Mary Ellen. Anna is 46; a widow; mother of 2, 1 living; immigrated in 1897; keeps a boarding house.^[2]
