Biography

Maude “Elaine” Dillon was born 31 Aug 1934 in Kiowa County, Kansas, USA

She served in the Women's Army Corps (WAC) in the 1960's during the Vietnam War Era. SFC Dillon was a platoon sergeant for Company E 1st Wac Basic Training Bn, Ft McClellan AL in Jun 1969; and later became the First Sergeant for the 97th Gen Hosp Frankfurt Germany WAC Detachment 1971-1972. She retired from the Army in 1977.

She then went on to work at the Veterans Hospital in Wichita, retiring from there with twenty years service in 1998.

Maude Ellaine Dillon passed away 22 May 2012 in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, USA. She was buried at the Old Mission Cemetery in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas, USA.
