There are two known published sources for this Elias Dietrich: (1) A fable written by William J. Dietrich (1875-1950) that appeared in "History of Lehigh County" (Roberts 1914, pp 253 ff); and (2) Genealogical notes in a manuscript extracted from a family Bible (Michigan D.A.R., 1957 pp 89-90). Elias Dietrich is probably fictional; see biography below, and also Wm J Dietrich's Fictional Genealogy.
Elias was born 13 Aug 1765, father Georg Hans (Roberts, loc cit); same father, DOB 8 Aug 1765, at Mount Bethel [PA?], mother Katherina Nauman (Michigan D.A.R., loc cit).
Elias Deiterich died 12 Feb 1831 per FamilySearch profile.
