Timothy Dick, better known by his stage name, Tim Allen, is a comedian, actor, and business owner. His most noteworthy shows are Last Man Standing and Home Improvement, and his biggest movies Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Toy Story 3, The Santa Clause, The Santa Clause 2, The Santa Clause 3, and Cars. He owns Boxing Cat Films and Tim Allen Design (TAD), a customization and performance enhancement company producing Limited Edition Vehicles. He is the author of "Don't Stand Too Close to a Naked Man" and "I'm Not Really Here."

Timothy Alan Dick was born June 13, 1953 in Denver, Colorado, USA to Gerald Myton Dick and Martha (Fox) Dick (later Bones). He has German and Irish ancestry.
Tim attended Central Michigan University. He later attended Western Michigan University, earning a bachelor's of science degree in communications specializing in radio and television production with a split minor in philosophy and design. He also has an honorary Fine Arts degree and was the recipient of the the Distinguished Alumni Award in 1998.
Tim married first Laura Diebel in 1984. They had one daughter together. They were divorced in 2003.
Tim married second Jane Hajduk in 2006. They have one daughter together.
Interests and Hobbies
Tim identifies as an Episcopalian Christian. He is conservative in his political views.
Tim's interests include God "The Builder", science, sci-fi, car design and horsepower, racing, tools, technology, Mac stuff and software, art, charities, and amateur radio broadcasting. In September 2014, Allen, like his character Mike Baxter in Last Man Standing, became a licensed amateur radio operator under the callsign KK6OTD.
