Biography

Jane Dey was born on March 16, 1750, in Preakness, New Jersey to Theunis Dey (1726-1787) and Hester (Schuyler) Dey (1725-1784). She married Abraham Van Buskirk on April 7, 1770, in Manhattan, New York. She died on February 27, 1789, in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, Canada, at the age of 38, and was buried in Christ Church Cemetery there.
