John Naylor Dews is buried beside his wife Alice (Love) Dews. [1]

Research Notes

John N. Dews' parents are not believed to be John and Sylvia Dews, as currently shown on Find A Grave. Geneology Trails says the following about John and Sylivia (Morris) Dews' children. They have raised a family of six children, five girls and one son; viz; Louisa, Mary F., Elizabeth Ann, Hannah, Abiah Sophia, and William H. The girls are all married and settled in the vicinity of Chesterfield, with the exception of Mary F., who is living in Kansas. William H., is still under paternal roof This article written before 1900, does not include John Naylor as their child.

John Naylor Dew's death certificate says his parents were Robert Dews and Sarah Naylor. While John N. is living with John and Sylvia in 1860, it is likely because John N. is orphaned. ^[1]
