John was born at Poultney, Rutland, VT., August 11,1791. He was the son of Zebediah Dewey Jr., and Lois Moseley. John was married to Lucinda Cook. In 1860, John resided in Paris, Kenosha Co., WI. John passed away at Somers, Kenosha, WI., January 3,1877, age 86.
