Biography

Mark was born on 14 Jan 1989 in New Westminster, British Columbia, Canada, to Jeff Devine and Gail Livingston. In about 1993 he moved with his family to Victoria, British Columbia. They moved to Powell River in 1997 before eventually returning to Victoria in June 2002.

Mark enrolled in the Software Engineering program at the University of Victoria in the fall of 2007. The next September he met Alexandria Boys on the university campus and they soon became a couple. In 2012 Mark graduated and moved to Mountain View, California, USA to work as a Software developer in October. In June 2014 Alexandria moved with Mark to North San Jose. On 29 Nov 2014 they were married at the University of Victoria in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.

Mark and Alex moved to Seattle Washington in June 2015. There they had two sons: Maxwell and Bennett.

Mark has two younger brothers: Michael West and William Joseph (Joey).
