Biography

Simon Després was born on 15 Jun 1804 in Cocagne, New Brunswick, the son of Charlemagne Despres and Anne Richard.[1][2]

Simon married Henriette Surette, daughter of Charles Surette and Marguerite Breau, on 27 Nov 1826 in Grande Digue.[3][4]

He died on 14 Feb 1891 and was buried three days later in Cocagne.[5] His age noted in the parish register was 87 years.
