Biography
Romuald Moise Deshaies was born on 4 Feb 1852 in St-Ambroise-de-Kildare parish in Bas-Canada. He was the son of Augustin Deshaies and his wife Marine Gareau of this parish. Godparents at Romuald's baptism were Joseph Deshaies and Julie Charron. At age 22 Romuald married Rosalie Aurelie Lebrun on 26 Oct 1874 in Rollinsford, Strafford, New Hampshire. Romuald died at age 71 on 25 Oct 1923 in Rochester, Strafford, New Hampshire; he was buried in Mount Calvaire Cemetery in Somersworth, Strafford, New Hampshire.
