Biography
Joseph Depew was born on December 2, 1834[1] in Tennessee to James Depew and Susan Cox.[2]
According to the 1850 census, Joseph lived with his mother and siblings in Wapello County, Iowa.[2]
On March 16, 1856, Joseph married Armelda Burris in Wapello County.[3]
Armelda died in 1888.
On November 9, 1890, Joseph married Maggie McDowell in Dallas County, Missouri.[4]
Joseph died on March 2, 1909. He is buried in the Bowers Chapel Cemetery in Dallas County.[1]
