Biography

Herbert (Denney) Denny was born in the Colony of New South Wales (1788-1900)

Herbert Morris Denny was born on March 15, 1890 in Goulburn, Colony of New South Wales, son of David John Denney (1864–1893) and Rose Hannah Morris (1864–1951).[1]

Herbert (26) married Agnes Miriam Wilson (24) (born in 1892 in Erina, New South Wales; daughter of George Henry Wilson and Rachel Mitchell) on June 25, 1917 in St Mark's Church, Terrigal, New South Wales.[2][3] Their children were:

Herbert died on January 11, 1966 in Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia, aged 75.[4]

DENNY, Herbert Morris - January 11, 1966, of 52 Gray Street, Kogarah, husband of the late Agnes Miriam Denny, loved father of Una (Mrs Hayman), Roy, Mavis (Mrs Freestone), Joan (Mrs Rapmund), father-in-law of Bill, Nan, Noel and Peter, loved grandfather of their children, aged 75 years. For funeral notice see Thursday's "Herald."[5]

He is commemorated at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland, Sutherland Shire, New South Wales.[6]
