This Mary Denison, born in 1701 at North Stonington, Connecticut, was a namesake for her sibling, born & died at or soon after birth in 1699. This Mary and her twin sister Phebe were the second and third children of Mary Avery & William Denison.

Mary Denison was baptized June 6, 1701, First Church of Stonington, Connecticut.

Note: the Mary Denison who was christened in 1699 was the earlier sibling who died at/soon after birth.
