William Dee is an Anzac who served in World War One.
Biography
William was born in 1890. [1] He was the son of William Dee and Annie Fritz. In July 1915 he enlisted in the Australian Imperil Forces, while deployed overseas he contracted Rheumatic Fever and was medically discharged in May 1916. With a desire to do his duty he reenlisted under the name Field in August 1918. His deception was eventually discovered and he was medically discharged but not before marring Beatrice Higgins and returning to Australia with his new bride in 1919.[2][3]He passed away in 1924.
