Biography
Elizabeth was born, it is believed, at some time, at least several years, before 1840. She married George Cook in 1852, and they had ten children.
George and Elizabeth lived on land owned by George's father in Luther Township. George was purchasing the land from his father by 1876, when, sadly, Elizabeth died at the birth of their youngest child. Her untimely death disrupted the entire family. The land went back to John Cook and George's family basically split up. The older children, who were married, ended up raising the younger children. George Jr. moved to Michigan and the other children moved to Manitoba, Saskatchewan and to British Columbia.
