Marguerite de La Roche, was the eldest daughter and probably co-heir of Étienne de La Roche, dit Gauvain, seigneur de La Roche, Châteauneuf, Beaussart, Senonches en partie et de La Ferrière, vicomte de Dreux, and maître d'hôtel for Charles VI, King of France, and his wife Jeanne (family name unknown).
Her birth date is unknown, and 1300 is a very rough estimate, based on her husband's estimated birth date of about 1290, and the fact that one of her daughters married before 30 January 1340.
She married Jean de Dreux, younger son of Robert II de Dreux, seigneur de Bû (Beu) and his first wife, Yolande (or Jeanne) de Vendôme. He held the titles seigneur de Châteauneuf-en-Thymerais, seigneur de Beaussart et de Senoches en partie, and vicomte de Dreux, probably all through the rights of his wife. They had issue;
Jean I de Dreux, died after 1347 but when Marguerite died appears to be unknown.
