Henry was born in 1840. Henry enlisted in Company D of the 103rd OVI on 11 Aug 1862. Transferred to the 87th Company, 2nd Battalion, Veteran Reserve Corps, 31 Oct 1863, then to the 43rd Company of the same from which mustered out, 8 Sep 1865, at Camp Dennison, Ohio by Order of the U.S. War Department. Had his middle finger on his right hand amputated. Henry married Sarah E. Snyder on 27 Jan 1870. He was a Farmer by trade. He passed away in 1928.
