Nicholas de Vaux [1] (also spelled de Veaux) was born about 1645 (based on his marriage date) in Festubert, Artois, France (as documented in his family's church records in Mannheim).
With his family he fled France probably in the 1650s; their exact emigration route is not yet known, but the family was in Mannheim by 1667.
Nicolas married Marie Sy in Mannheim on on 10 July 1667. They baptized one child, Abraham, there on 11 Jun 1668.
TF DeVoe and Mackenzie list additional children for whom there are no baptismal records at Mannheim or NY
They are last mentioned in Mannheim records in 1673.
"In 1675, Nicholas was found in the 'Night Watch', in Ha(a)rlem, having been called upon by the governor to assist in protecting the inhabitants against the attack from Indians. Two years after, he was again enrolled by the Governor to assist in cutting 5,000 trees to erect a 'Palisade Wall' on the line of the present 'Wall Street' (New York), to guard against an expected attack of the Indians. This fact gave this prominent business street its name.
"Nicholas had previously obtained some land at Ha(a)rlem, as he was taxed for property therein 1677. He remained here but for a few years. “ Then they moved to New Jersey, where he and his wife joined the church at Bergen in 1679. Several of his wife's relatives had moved to New Barbadoes Neck (Hackensack), which induced him to change his residence to that place.
On 7 April 1679, about five years after their arrival, the fifteen year old Marie Petilion married Abraham Rutemps in the Walloon Protestant Church in New Paltz. In 1689, Abraham bought land in the New Barbadoes Neck (now Hackensack, Bergen Co., NJ.)
Marie (Sy) DeVeaux died sometime before 1706. That was the year her husband remarried to Margaret Jans/Sans. They had a daughter.
Both Marie and Nicholas are buried in the 'The Old French Burying-ground', by 'The French Church' at New Barbadoes Neck (Hackensack), New Jersey.[2]
Devoe (1885, p 33-34) claims that Nicholas married second Margaret Jans when he was about 64 years old.

Abraham, b 1667; m 1688 Mynno (Menno or Minnie) de Maree; joined Dutch reformed church in Hackensack, NJ where his surname is spelled De Vouw, a spelling that seems to have stuck for subsequent generations. Six children, born Hackensack. Removed to Tarrytown NY in 1705.

De Vouw-3 and DeVaux-34 appear to represent the same person because: Despite the spelling differences, these clearly represent the same person. DeVaux-34 has sources. The wife of De Vouw-3 also needs merging into -34s wife Sy. Thank you.

Sally, you have a good-sized family here with empty birth and death fields. I have a feeling they may be duplicates of others with similar spellings, but without dates, it's difficult to determine. Doesn't look like you've been active on wikitree for over a year; if you're not going to stay involved, perhaps you could orphan your profiles so that others may work on them? Thanks so much. (Married to a De Veaux descendant.)
