Martha was born in 1858. She was the daughter of Richard Day and Elizabeth Smith. She married James Rowley then Christian P. (Wilbur) Bouregard. She passed away in 1926.

Obituary

"Martha Day Beauregard was born Jan. 3, 1858 in England to Richard and Elizabeth Smith Day and she died Feb. 19, 1926 at her home in Fillmore.
"The deceased was converted to the church of LDS in her early teens and made the journey from her native land to Utah, in company with her parents in the year 1874. Several of her brothers had proceeded her here, selecting Fillmore as the family home.
"In 1880, 1 April, she was married to James Rowley in Salt Lake City Utah, who lived only a year or two after their marriage. She was married to Christian P. Beauregard in the St.George Temple on 16 Oct, in the year 1884, and lived very happily for nineteen years when she was again left a widow.
"She was a faithful member of the Church. She was not only faithful to her church, but just as faithful in believing that it was her duty as a Christian to do the will of her Master at all times. She was always ready to lend a helping hand in times of need, both in acts of kindness and in words. She was a good mother, devoted to her family almost to a fault, for she was always working, pausing only at the close of day to gain strength for the tasks of tomorrow.
"For the past fourteen years her health had been very poor. She would be confined to her bed for months, then rally enough to be about the house for a short time. For the past seven months, however, she has suffered intensely. And in spite of the tender loving care she received, her condition grew worse constantly, until at the last all hope was given up for her recovery.
"She was the mother of four children, three of whom survive her: John Rowley, Alonzo Beauregard and Mrs. Laura Dearden. She is also survived by the following brothers and one sister: George, Albert, John, James, Charles and Miah Day and Mary Rowley. Preceded in death by Wilford Beauregard.
"Funeral services were held in the Ward Chapel, Monday, Feb. 22, at 2 o'clock. the choir sang "Abide With Me' and "o, My Father". Ed. Nelson, Earl Stott, Stella Day and Rhoda Melville sang a quartette "Beautiful Isle of Somewhere", and Mrs. Stella Day a solo, "Not Understood". The speakers were Rufus Day, W. D. Melville and Peter L. Brunson. Don C. Wixom offered the opening prayer and Chas. Brunson pronounced the benediction.
"Interment was in the Fillmore Cemetery."[1]
