Alfred Henry Phillip Dawes was born on 26 August 1921 in South Yarra, Victoria, Australia, the son of Julia Myrtle (Spurling) Dawes and Alfred Henry Dawes.[citation needed]
He married Olive Jean Lloyd on 15 April 1942 in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia.[1] Their children are:[2]
Olive died in November 1948.[2]
Alfred remarried in 1950 in Victoria, to Doris Evelyn Morton.[3] They had a daughter.[citation needed]
Alfred died on 1 April 1993 in Parkville, Victoria, aged 71 years.[4] His remains were buried at Northern Memorial Park in Glenroy, Victoria.[citation needed]
