Her son named his mother Margaret Hunter on his first marriage record - however his birth and 1841 British census records do not match this name.
Biography
Elizabeth Davy was born in about 1805 in Devonport, Devon, England.
She is probably the Elizabeth Davy, born 15 Aug 1806, daughter of John & Elizabeth, who was christened on 9 Mar 1808 in Stoke Damerel, Devonport.[1]
Elizabeth Davy, Spinster, and Thomas Kilgour, Seaman HMS Windsor Castle, Bachelor, were married after Banns on 13 Mar 1827 in East Stonehouse, Devon, England - the witnesses were Francis Ilter, Sarah Yeo & John Moore Clerk.[2]

In 1861 Elizabeth Kilger (age 48 [~55]) lived at Chapel Street in Stoke Damerel with her husband Thomas (55, Chelsea Pensioner).[8]
In 1871 Betsy Kilgour (age 66) lived in Stoke Damerel with her husband Thomas (67).[9]
Elizabeth Kilgour passed away on 7 Aug 1878, aged 73 years. Her death was registered in Stoke Damerel in the third quarter of the year.[10] Elizabeth Kilgour of 4 Keat Street, aged 73 years, who died 7 Aug, was buried on 11 Aug 1878 in Stoke Damerel.[11]
