Captain Elisha Davis performed Patriotic Service in Massachusetts in the American Revolution.

Elisha was patriotic during the American Revolution, he served on a committee to provide beef to the patriot army.

Through his mother's family, Elisha was a descendant of John Turner (1564-1621), a passenger on the Mayflower. His descent from John Turner is:

Elisha Davis (1722-1796)

Elisha was born 16 February 1722, in Roxbury, Massachusetts, the son of Samuel and Mary Davis.[1]

On 11 July 1751, Elisha married Mary (Harris) Davis (1727-1796) in Oxford, Massachusetts.[2]

Elisha Davis died at age 75 on 22 October 1796, in Oxford, Massachusetts.[3] He is buried in the South Cemetery in Oxford, Worcester County, Massachusetts.[4]
