Calvin was born in 1919. He was the son of Joseph Davis and Geneva Allen.
Calvin passed away in 1964 from carcinoma of the esophagus. His death certificate states he was a 44 year old, single, Negro male who had never married and worked as a janitor. His parents were listed as Joseph Davis and Geneva Allen. The informant was Mrs. Marie Reid.[1]
