Biography

Mary Elizabeth Emily Davis was born about 1846/1847 according to the 1910 and 1920 US census,^[1][2] or 1851 according to her grave marker.^[3]

Emily married Abimelech Allen on January 25, 1866.^[4]

They remained in Indiana and had at least four children of record:^[5][1][2]

• John W Allen, b. ~1888
• Thomas C Allen, b. ~1890

Emily Allen died in 1923. She was buried at Painters Creek Cemetery, Greenbrier, Orange County, Indiana, USA.^[3]
