Biography

Elisha was born in 1844. He is the son of Joel Davis and Sarah Turner.

He married 27 Jan 1874 at Millers Place, NY to Charlotte Elsie Hutchinson (1852-1935), (aka "Elsie C.") Their children are:

1. Eugene T. Davis b.abt. 1875-1885, died 10 yrs old Mt. Sinai
2. Ethel May Davis 1882-1885 died 3 yrs old Mt. Sinai
3. Leila M. Davis b.abt. 1886- Feb 1983, Levittown, NY
4. Leroy Davis 1888-1888 died 1 yr old Mt. Sinai

There are also possibly other children who died in infancy. Records cannot be confirmed, no burials found to date to support this, however:

1. Child 1877 died young, male
2. Child 1879 died young, unknown
