PM: This Isaac Davis was not married to Rebecca Williams. This Isaac Davis (with correct parents as listed ) was married to Rachel Adams (1760-1845). They married on 12 June 1785 and had eight children. He and Rachel did NOT have a daughter named Mary among their eight children. There are birth records for several of the eight children and a FindAGrave that lists this Isaac Davis with Rachel (Adams) Davis as his wife with headstones.
I believe that Rebecca (Williams) Davis and her daughter were conflated with the incorrect Isaac Davis. Given the bona fide sources for Isaac Davis married to Rachel Adams along with sources for several of their children, I am disconnecting Rebecca (Williams) Davis and her daughter in order to connect the above Isaac Davis with his proper wife and children. I apologize for any difficulties that arise. Also, given the length of marriage, the above Isaac Davis could not have been married to these two women.
