Mary (Davis) Showers is a part of US Black heritage.
Mary Ethel Davis was born on October 30, 1922, the daughter of Lewis & Lizzie (Godwin) Davis.[1]
Mary (20) married Charlie Showers (23) (born on November 25, 1919) about 1943. Their children were:
- Richard Showers (1945–2021)
- Robert Lee Showers (1946–1969)
- Johnny Showers (1947–2005)
- Ernest Showers (1951–1989)
Mary died on June 1, 2008, aged 85. She was buried in New Mount Marriah Baptist Church Cemetery, Lillian.[1]
