Alan Keith Davidson was born in June 1929 in Lisarow near Gosford in New South Wales Australia. He was the son of Leslie Davidson and Hilda Clifton.
Alan Keith Davidson AM MBE was an Australian cricketer of the 1950s and 1960s. He played First Class Cricket for New South Wales and 44 Test matches in that same time period. Making his debut for Australia against England at Nottingham from June 11 - 16, 1953, and his last also against the English at Sydney from February 15 - 20, 1963.
He passed away in October 2021 at or about Sydney in New South Wales at the age of 92 years and from his WIKIPEDIA profile and the press of the day we see: That cricketer Alan Davidson married Miss Betty Patricia McKinley on the 17th of May, 1952 at St. Andrew's Church of England, Strathfield. Their sons were born in 1953 and 1955 while he was on tour in England and the West Indies respectively. He was named as the New South Wales Father of the Year in 1982.
