anyone who shares the same ancestors.
My family tree is on another website.
Hello fellow researchers. I started researching in the 70’s with no clue what I was doing. My great grandmother contacted me to pass on a contact for the Morelock line. That contact provided a lot of information and other contacts. I gleaned as much as I could before they passed away. Still harboring bad research habits, I accepted their research as correct. However, what they had on some of my ancestors was mostly hearsay. I purchased my first FTM and after a few years of many upgrades, switched to Ancestry. Then I heard about the free FS. Now I use FS for source/records, Ancestry for an online tree to record my work and I just purchased FTM as my storage of proven documentation. Lesson learned. Stories are great, but proof brings the ancestors alive. I’d love some help. Thanks
