Death and Burial
Achilles Daunt died on 28 Aug 1871 and was buried in the Tracton Abbey Churchyard. Inscription: Achilles Daunt, Justice of the Peace of Tracton Abbey Esquire. Departed This Life August 28, 1871. Aged 68 years. This monument was erected by a grateful tenantry to perpetuate the memory of a kind and indulgent landlord a munificent benefactor and sympathising friend.^[2][3]
