Biography

Dwayne Royce Darnell was born on 19 Jan 1947 in^[1] Custer, Custer, South Dakota.^[2][3]

On 19 May 1947 Dwayne was admitted to St Johnn's Hospital when he was 4 months old. Circumstances not known.^[4].

Dwayne served in the US Army from Sep1966 - Jun 1968, serving as a medic in the jungles of Vietnam and receiving the "Purple Heart" medal for bravery.^[3]

Dwayne (20) and Bonnie S Mcintosh (17) married in Humboldt County, California on 16 Jul 1967^[5]. They divorced in May 1974 in California.^[6]

AT time of death, his obituary mentioned two siblings - Fredy Kaye and Ken Williams and 2 children Cory and Candi Lawrence. These 4 need to be further substantiated.

Dwayne was able to attend a reunion in Washington D.C. where he was ablt to meet up with men not seen for 40 years.^[3]

Dwayne died at the age of 64, on 23 Apr 2011^[1] in Eureka, Humboldt, California.^[2][3]
