Biography

Hannah Dane, daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Dane was born at Concord, Massachusetts Bay Colony on 18 Mar 1646; She married Samuel son of John and Phobe (Payne) Page by 1667; She died after 1704 in Middlesex County, Massachustts Bay Colony.

Hannah and Samuel had a family of 8 children at Concord, their first child was born in 1667. In 1704 she agreed in probate to the division of her property. Note: 17th century Middlesex County events were recorded at the court in Watertown.

• The entry for Samuel Page on pg. 1367 of ‘The Great Migration Begins’ at NEHGS suggests he and his wife Hannah (Dane) Page might have named their daughter Mildred after Hannah's step-mother who raised Hannah and her siblings in Concord, Massachusetts.
• Hannah’s birth record in the Concord Registers states she was born on the 18th day of the first month 1645, this is old style and equates to today’s style 18 March 1646. can someone confirm this? if it is so, please update profile, thanks. • When Hannah Dane/Dean was born on March 18, 1645, her father, Thomas, was 42, and her mother, Elizabeth, was 40. She married Samuel Page and they had five children together. She died in 1686 in Watertown, Massachusetts, at the age of 41.
