Service during the American Revolution: Philip Daley (use this spelling for a look-up in the database) is DAR Patriot Ancestor #: A029391. He served as a Private in the 2nd Battalion, Washington County Militia, Pennsylvania Militia. And he paid the Supply Tax in 1781. His residence: Nottingham Twp. His spouse: Mercy Jones. Children in patriot file: Sarah who m. John Robins, Philip Jr who m. Magdalena ______; Mary who m. Christian Painter. [2]

His will (date not given) names wife Mercy to have his plantation, names his three sons: Phillip, Samuel, Charles to divide his other land. Names daughters Mary Panther, Rachel Parrot, Sarah Robins, Mercy Bentley. Names son Isaac to have some cash. Probate 11 Dec 1787. [3]
