Biography

Sargeant Nathan Cuyle served in the United States Civil War.

Nathan Jones Cuyle was born on May 26, 1846 in Hartwick, Otsego, New York, United States, son of Jacob Bunn Cuyle (1820–1892) and Rachel Ann Jones (1823–1861).

In 1855, Nathan J (9) was in the household of his father, Jacob Cuyle in Masonville, Delaware, New York. [1]

Nathan (26) married Anna Eliza Schellinger (30) (born on May 24, 1842 in Truxton, Cortland, New York, USA; daughter of Elias Schellinger and Olive (Crandall) Schellinger) on June 19, 1872. Their children were:

In 1880, Nathan and his family were enumerated twice, in Middlebury, Connecticut where Nathan was listed as an engineer and in Naugatuck, Connecticut were Nathan was listed as a farmer[2][3].

Nathan died on March 3, 1907 in Hazelton, Luzerne, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 60. He was buried in Riverside Cemetery, Oswego, Oswego County, New York.[4]
