Biography
John Edward Currier was born on October 26, 1834 in Kittery, York, Maine, United States, son of Philip Currier (1782–1844) and Hannah Wilson Caswell (1801–1885).[1]
His siblings were:
- Briard A. Currier (1830–1901)
- Mary Appleton Currier (1838–1885)
John married Helen Mae Lawry (born on August 20, 1838 in Kittery; daughter of John Edward Lawry and Joanna Frisbee) on November 8, 1858 in Kittery. Their son was Mark Wentworth Currier (1865–1941).[2]
John died on February 3, 1868 in Kittery, aged 33. He was buried in Orchard Grove Cemetery, Kittery, York County, Maine.[3]
