Biography

John was the fourth of ten children born to John Cryer and Catherine (Fox) Cryer. He was baptised in Bitton, Gloucestershire on 11 October 1761^[1]

On 18 June 1786, he married Sarah Bryant in Siston, Gloucestershire.^[2] The couple had five children: Sarah 1787, Charles 1792 , Ann Bryant 1796, Tobias 1799 and Catherine Bryant 1802.

John died at the age of 50 and may have been buried in Siston on 22 May 1812^[3]
