Henry Hoagle Crone was born on June 6, 1849 in Ohio, United States, son of Henry J Crone (1797–1867) and Sarah Ann Lenvill (~1800–~1904).

In 1860, Henry (11) was living in Helt, Vermilion with Aquilla Nebeker (45), Naoma Nebeker (44), Jasper Nebeker (18), Laura Nebeker (17), Theresa Nebeker (14), Semer Nebeker (12), Maria Nebeker (10), Melissa Nebeker (8), Heny Nebeker (6), Mattie Nebeker (undefined), and Bird Nebeker (1). [1]

Henry (19) married Margaret Ann Husher (25) (born on April 7, 1843 in Virginia, United States; daughter of Elijah Husher and Mary Polly Cunningham) on July 26, 1868 in Miami.[2] Their children were:

In 1870, Henry (21) was living in Jackson, Miami with his wife, Margarett (undefined); his father, Henry (undefined); and Elizah Crone (undefined). [3]

In 1880, Henry (31) was living in Owen, Clinton with his wife, Margaret (34); and their children, L. Elijah (11), Myrtle (8), and Orvile (5). [4] [5]

In 1900, Henry (51) was living in Westminster, Reno with his father, Henry (undefined); and his son, Charles [6]

In 1915, Henry (66) was living in Hutchinson, Reno with John J Layman (69), B Beeth (68), and Wesley Layman (26). [7]

Henry died on November 18, 1915 in Arlington, Reno, aged 66. He was buried in Arlington Cemetery, Arlington, Reno County, Kansas.[8] [9] [10]
